This policy is available to anyone (including members of the public) who has requested a copy of the White Homewares Pty Ltd trading as The White Linen Company (TWLC) Privacy Policy.
SCOPE
TWLC is bound by and complies with the National Privacy Principals (NPP’s) which set the standards for how organisations in the private sector should collect, use, disclose, hold and give access to personal information. The NPP’s form part of the Privacy Act 1988.
This policy only applies in relation to "personal information" (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988) collected by TWLC. In summary, ‘personal information’ is information or an opinion relating to an individual which can be used to identify that individual. It does not apply to information concerning companies and other business entities.

TWLC endeavours to ensure that any personal information collected is accurate, up to date and complete. In order to achieve this, TWLC maintains and updates personal information upon receipt of advice that such personal information has changed.

Information we collect
TWLC may collect the following information for marketing purposes to identify the most useful and popular sections of this site and to generally improve this site:

No attempt will be made to identify users by their browsing activities.
Indirect Collection of Personal Information
Where possible, we attempt to collect personal information about an individual solely from that individual, however, at times we may be supplied with personal information by a third party.
